This is the racial cult of the Yòsàem people, it is centred on the worship of two deities who are believed to be brothers. It is known locally as “Earthborn” (Kyàǧô Ôdesè)
This cult is found only among the Yòsàem in the Kànegedà Mountains.
This cult teaches that the multiverse is ruled by two brother deities who were born from the heart of the mountains (personified as Yede Hehe — Mountain Mother). The two brothers are Màkànì (Right hand), seen as the negative influence (darkness, death, disease, etc.) and Hàvesànì (Left Hand) who is the positive influence (light, life, health, etc.)
While both of the brother deities are worshipped together, there is a sectarian divide over which, if any, was born first. The Dextarianists believe that Màkànì was born first and is therefore the senior of the two, the Sinistarianists believe that Hàvesànì was born first and is therefore the senior of the two, and the Geminarianists believe they were born at the same time and so they are equal.
These three sects are in constant conflict that often leads violence and pogroms of the local minority sects.
There is no overall structure or hierarchy to this cult, each temple (generally a cave or grotto) having its own little hierarchy.
Relations with Other Cults
Fraterists are extremely intolerant of other cults and actively suppress them.
